Job Summary: A Senior professional will be responsible for building data pipelines, developing CDS Views, and integrating SAP with Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL, ensuring data quality and consistency for analytics and strategic dashboards, with emphasis on evolving the corporate Data Warehouse. Focus on data quality, consistency, and data architecture **What We’re Looking For:** A Senior-level professional experienced in **(Data / SAP / Azure).** **Responsibilities:** The professional will build data pipelines, develop CDS Views, and integrate SAP with Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL, ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability for analytics and strategic dashboards. Remote position. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for developing and enhancing data pipelines and integrations between the SAP environment and the corporate Data Warehouse hosted on Azure, ensuring data quality, consistency, and scalability. They will directly extract data via CDS Views, integrate with Azure Data Factory, and build data layers in Azure SQL, supporting the establishment of the definitive Data Warehouse architecture. The professional will also contribute to ensuring the data environment is ready to support strategic dashboards and the migration of the SICOF system to SAP. Project Context: We are in the structuring and evolution phase of the corporate Data Warehouse, focusing on transitioning to SAP as the definitive system. The professional will work on the SAP project, responsible for: Creating and adjusting CDS Views in SAP; Extracting data via Azure Data Factory; Enriching the Data Warehouse (Azure SQL); Ensuring data quality and consistency; Supporting the definition of the definitive data architecture. * Develop advanced CDS Views in SAP (associations, annotations, performance tuning); Adjust and optimize existing views; Integrate SAP data with Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL; * Implement ingestion pipelines and incremental loads; * Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity; * Support defining the Data Warehouse architecture; * Assess the need for dimensional modeling (Star Schema); * Support the evolution of data governance; * Collaborate with data, BI, and architecture teams to ensure information availability and reliability. **Requirements:** * SAP; * Solid experience with advanced CDS Views; * Experience with performance tuning for SAP data extraction on Azure; * Experience with Azure Data Factory (pipelines, triggers, integration runtime); * Experience with Azure SQL; * Experience with data architectures featuring Bronze / Silver / Gold layers; * Data Engineering experience with ETL and/or ELT; * Implementation of incremental loads; * Data Quality practices; Experience with SAP-to-Data Warehouse integration. **Nice-to-Have:** * Experience in ERP migration projects; * Experience designing corporate Data Warehouses; * Ability to propose data architectures; * Experience with Power BI for dashboard development; * Experience with data governance. **Behavioral Profile:** We are looking for someone who: * Enjoys working in teams and is **collaborative** in their responsibilities; * Has the **courage** to challenge themselves and go beyond, embracing new growth opportunities; * Transforms ideas into **creative solutions** and pursues excellence in all daily activities; * Possesses strong **problem-solving skills**; * Is capable and comfortable working independently and **managing their own time**; * Is interested in tackling technologically **adversarial and innovative** situations.
