**General Job Description:** The Pharmacy Counter Attendant is responsible for providing direct customer service at the store counter, selling medications and related products under technical supervision, organizing the workplace, restocking merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness and upkeep. Works under the guidance of the responsible pharmacist, ensuring compliance with sanitary regulations and internal procedures. Receives fixed salary \+ Bonuses/Commission (Opportunity for substantial bonus based on sales performance.) **Duties and Responsibilities:** * Provide in-person customer service at the counter with courtesy and attentiveness, delivering basic product information and executing sales in accordance with company guidelines; * Implement active promotional campaigns at the point of sale, following instructions from leadership and the marketing department; * Store medications and related products appropriately after system registration, adhering to expiration dates, batch numbers, and storage conditions; * Restock products on shelves and gondolas, maintaining organization and product visibility; * Perform cleaning and maintenance of assigned sections, the service area, kitchen, and other store premises, as scheduled or required; * Assist with store opening and closing procedures, complying with defined operational protocols; * Identify and segregate expired or near-expiry medications, reporting them to responsible personnel for appropriate action; * Inform customers about discount programs, benefits, and special purchasing terms; * Promptly report any workplace anomalies—such as system failures, equipment malfunctions, lighting issues, or structural problems—to responsible personnel; * Keep gondolas clean, well-stocked, and properly labeled with correct pricing and organized by category; * Work under the direct supervision of the responsible pharmacist and/or manager, ensuring that specially controlled medications are verified prior to sale, per current sanitary legislation.
