Therefore, here you will find people from different places and backgrounds who believe in the importance of unity and in the power of support and inclusion. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform physicochemical analyses; * Prepare and conduct tests relevant to the laboratory in which you work, following established schedules and procedures. * Organize and analyze raw test data in compliance with applicable standards. * Identify needs and request materials for use in the area. * Train less experienced professionals in the area. * Support, develop, and review new methodologies and operational procedures. * Verify temperature control and operating conditions of laboratory equipment. * Request sample delivery and return. * Dispose of waste. * Carry out decontamination procedures and clean the laboratory environment, equipment, and glassware. * Comply with quality assurance procedures and Good Laboratory Practices. * Use facilities, furniture, equipment, tools, and materials responsibly and ensure their proper maintenance, as well as maintain organization and cleanliness of your workplace. * Uphold ALS values and follow current internal practices and policies. * Perform other related duties as required by the area and at the discretion of your immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** For this position, we seek professionals with the following qualifications: * Technical diploma or completed degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. * Active professional regulatory council registration (CRQ). * Knowledge of chemistry concepts and calculations. * Organization, punctuality, teamwork, and adaptability. * Knowledge of ion chromatography (preferred).
