Brief description:
Responsible for mechanical inspection of mobile equipment, ensuring reliability and operational availability of the logistics fleet. Will identify failures, monitor equipment performance, and support preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
**Job Responsibilities:*** Executes established practices and procedures for the position.
* Responsible for operating and properly maintaining equipment and tools under their responsibility.
* Responsible for complying with departmental safety regulations and using personal protective equipment according to the Basic Equipment List for their area.
* Housekeeping and cleanliness are performed in accordance with the area's program.
* Actively participates in ENADs and contributes to continuous improvement processes.
* Works under the Quality Management System.
* Participates in training, safety, and technical courses scheduled by the company.
* Undergoes medical examinations when required by the company and at the time designated by the company.
* Responsible for complying with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Internal Work Regulations.
* Remains with their equipment and spends at least 70% of their time utilizing necessary resources (inspection checklists, instruments, special equipment, etc.).
* Is responsible for executing all simple opportunity tasks arising from their own inspections. Additionally, must execute and/or supervise special tasks (even if outside their area of responsibility) when plant requirements, experience, and qualifications demand it.
* Updates inspection plans, lubrication schedules, preventive controls, predictive controls, safety practices, and release cards in SAP. This must be done via inspection forms, preventive plans, corrective plans, and emergency alerts.
* Reviews spare parts requirements based on inspection results using the SAP system, and ensures immediate repair coordination with the zone workshop and warehouse.
* Ensures necessary resources (spare parts, materials, labor, vehicles, and material handling equipment) and execution of scheduled services within their areas of responsibility.
* Monitors equipment operation together with operators to obtain appropriate feedback on performance.
* Manages information for scheduling purposes, validating its quality, determining whether a repair is daily, scheduled, or extraordinary, and evaluating its respective priority.
* Promotes and supports Maintenance Engineering in their area, negotiating required resources.
* Is fully committed to the results of their production lines and auxiliary services.
* Maintains a minimum inventory of spare subassemblies in perfect working condition, with all information updated in the Maintenance system.
* Ensures follow-up of the Environmental Plan related to their own area.
* Becomes the "Technical Reference" for equipment in their area and specialty, supporting shift teams and staff departments.
Additional job responsibilities:
* Perform mechanical inspection of mobile equipment;
* Create maintenance orders in the SAP system;
* Monitor performance of equipment under their responsibility;
* Conduct failure analysis and support corrective actions;
* Promote continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes;
* Anticipate failures through field inspections;
* Participate in maintenance activity planning meetings;
* Support initial maintenance control, including spare parts registration and creation of preventive and inspection plans.
Prerequisites:
Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering and/or related fields.
Valid CFT.
Experience in the described activities.
Availability to work on rotating shifts.
