Job Summary: Senior Import Analyst to manage the end-to-end import process of medical devices—from purchase order placement to final customs clearance—at a global company. Key Highlights: 1. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on helping surgeons better treat their patients™.* Conduct continuous follow-up with customs brokers, anticipating potential issues throughout the import process. * Request and manage calculation of import taxes, reporting values and status to leadership; * Control expenses related to customs clearance (primary/secondary zone fees, demurrage, broker fees, etc.) and justify monthly deviations to leadership; * In partnership with the Regulatory team, monitor expiration dates of licenses (LI, ex-tariff, RADAR, and others) and conduct renewals and document collection. Track allocations, document submissions, shipments, and purchase order deadlines from the demand planning team, reporting delays or issues. Monitor the end-to-end (E2E) import process, from purchase order placement to final customs clearance; * Control import processes and escalate excessive delays at regulatory agencies to leadership; * Track timely approvals of advance Import Licenses and DI registrations within deadlines and SLAs; * Issue nationalization invoices, support NCM code registration, and manage tax benefit processes (e.g., ex-tariff); * Identify products eligible for tax benefits, submit proposals to consultants, and track approvals; * Support preparation of presentations for supplier performance meetings (especially customs brokers) and participate in such meetings with leadership. Update operational KPIs monthly, analyzing and justifying deviations; * Support continuous improvement projects for the supply chain and collaborate with global team guidelines. Assist in updating internal procedures; * Serve as key user during implementation or changes to systems, tools, and ERP.
