Job Summary: The Services Department seeks a technician to ensure the optimal operation and performance of wind turbines, maintaining customer loyalty through maintenance and monitoring. Opportunities for learning and professional development The Services Department is responsible for ensuring the proper operation of our customers’ wind farms and guaranteeing the best performance of each turbine throughout its lifetime. The role is to ensure turbines operate at maximum capacity, delivering the highest energy output to our customers. As a key team maintaining long-term customer loyalty, the service technician applies their skills and training to operate and maintain wind turbines. The technician will follow specific schedules and procedures, including safety protocols, turbine servicing, and/or installation processes, as well as other detailed verbal or written instructions. **Responsibilities:** * Strictly adhere to safety and health regulations, acting as a self-protector and protector of fellow colleagues; * Carry out preventive tasks and corrective maintenance; * Perform maintenance on Vestas turbines at customer wind farms across the entire region covered by Vestas turbines; * Monitor WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) performance; * Report turbine conditions and collect data for research purposes; * Commitment to and timely delivery of daily activities; * Generate reports, including Inspection, Failure, or Component Replacement reports; * Submit Daily Activity Reports from the site; * Inspect and complete checklists for work tools; * Ensure correct material consumption in Work Orders, as well as execution of activities within the planned timeframe; * Establish and maintain professional contact with customers when necessary; * Knowledge of all tools and "pathways" for data verification, process verification, and procedures used during work; * Guide Junior technicians; * Serve as a role model for Junior technicians regarding Vestas safety procedures and processes; * Continuously seek opportunities for learning and professional development; * Contribute ideas for workplace improvement and/or actively participate in implementing improvements suggested by other department colleagues. **Qualifications:** * Technical education in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics fields; * Ability to read, interpret, and understand basic to advanced-level drawings and schematics; * Ability and willingness to work at elevated locations; * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; * Valid CFT/CREA registration; * Valid CNH B driver’s license; * Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices for administrative tasks; * Willingness to travel (work at other sites); * Basic English proficiency with reading comprehension; **Competencies:** * Safe Behavior * Results Orientation * Operational Discipline * Commitment to Work * Teamwork * Responsibility, Simplicity, Collaboration, and Passion **APPLICATIONS UNTIL 20/02** **Our commitment to a fair hiring** At Vestas, we evaluate all candidates solely based on their professional experience, education, and relevant skills.
