Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for cash operations and customer service at the checkout counter, ensuring service excellence and contributing to goal achievement and loss reduction. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cash operations and customer service at the checkout counter, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/entering merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals from the register, closing the register, and submitting daily financial reports at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout counter by adhering to established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products, consulting the product code table, verifying product labels, checking weight on the scale and system matching, processing payments, and—when accepting checks—verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; when accepting cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and proper register closure by counting cash, reconciling totals, signing documentation, and delivering it to the Supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box, thereby preventing excessive exposure of cash and ensuring accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and promptly notifying the Supervisor for corrective action; Contribute to reducing losses at the checkout area through preventive actions such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, and expediting returns of perishable goods, etc. Maintain the workstation and equipment in perfect working and clean condition, and request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks whenever necessary, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand replenishment, product pricing and expiration date verification, gift packaging, etc. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional Information:** 100% on-site position **Work Location:** Avenida Frei Godofredo 1500 Santa Terezinha, Gaspar \- SC **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefits Store Purchase Benefits Life Insurance Attendance Bonus * Position available for Persons with Disabilities (PCD)
