Job Summary: Responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers, scanning items, collecting payments, and reconciling transactions. Key Highlights: 1. About Us GTOP comprises the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. Under multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers in accordance with established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards—scanning items, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals, closing the checkout, and reconciling daily transactions at shift end. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout, following protocols, rules, regulations, and pre-established standards—scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, verifying product labels, checking scale weights and system correspondence, processing payments, verifying prior authorization for checks and making proper endorsements on the back, and authenticating cash when received; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and proper checkout closing—counting cash, recording totals, signing documentation, and delivering it to the Supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box to prevent accumulation of exposed cash and ensure accurate reconciliation; Contribute to achieving targets for current campaigns by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for follow-up; Contribute to reducing front-end checkout losses through preventive actions—including minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing potential theft, expediting returns of perishable goods, etc.; Maintain the workstation and equipment in perfect working and clean condition; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift packaging, etc. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Avenida Frei Godofredo 1500 Santa Terezinha, Gaspar \- SC **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefit Plan Shopping Benefits at Group Stores Life Insurance Attendance Bonus * Position available for Persons with Disabilities (PCD)
