JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cash register operations and customer service, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals, closing the register, and providing an accurate daily financial report at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the cash register by adhering to protocols, rules, regulations, and pre-established standards; scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, checking product labels, verifying weight on scales and system correspondence; processing payments — in case of checks, confirming prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; when accepting cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and proper cash register closing by counting cash, reconciling totals, signing reports, and delivering them to the Supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box, thereby avoiding excessive exposure of cash and ensuring accountability; Contribute to achieving targets of ongoing campaigns by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting such omissions to the Supervisor for corrective action; Help reduce front-end losses by proactively minimizing bag waste, preventing theft, and ensuring prompt returns of perishable goods, etc. Maintain and keep the workplace and equipment clean and in optimal working condition; request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in packing goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks whenever necessary, such as shelf stocking, checkout counter setup, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** 100% on-site position **Work Location:** Avenida Frei Godofredo 1500 Santa Terezinha, Gaspar \- SC **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefit Plan Retail Store Purchase Discount Program Life Insurance Attendance Bonus * Position available for Persons with Disabilities (PCD)
