Nutritionist – Unit Manager

Job Summary: Manage the operation of a meal production unit, planning and supervising daily production, leading teams, and ensuring quality and sanitary compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Planning and supervision of production in Food and Nutrition Units (UAN) * Manage the entire operation of the meal production unit; * Plan, supervise, and monitor daily production; * Lead and develop the operational team; * Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices for Food Handling and current sanitary legislation; * Conduct quality control, cost management, waste tracking, and operational performance indicators; * Manage inventory, receipt, and storage of food supplies; * Develop work schedules and monitor team performance; * Ensure compliance with food safety standards and internal unit procedures; * Prepare managerial reports and track operational goals; * Maintain relationships with clients and contractual oversight bodies. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Nutrition; * Active registration with the Regional Nutrition Council (CRN); * Experience managing Food and Nutrition Units (UAN); * Experience in large-volume meal production; * Knowledge of sanitary legislation, HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices, and performance indicator management; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Leadership profile, strong organizational skills, proactivity, and effective communication. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in industrial kitchens, hospitals, correctional facilities, or collective meal services; * Postgraduate degree in UAN Management, Food Safety, or related fields; * Familiarity with collective meal management systems.
