**What are we looking for?** **Key responsibilities:** Mapping and Identification of Toil Analyze incident reports, logs, and volumes of repetitive support tickets to identify operational bottlenecks and opportunities to automate manual processes. Development of Automations and Scripts: Build, test, and maintain scripts and bots using Python, shell scripting languages, or RPA tools to automate routine tasks, shift validations, and batch processing. The candidate must be responsible for identifying, mapping, and transforming manual and repetitive operational processes into automated and efficient workflows within the IT Operations area. Their role aims to eliminate manual work (toil), mitigate operational errors, and implement automated verification of routines and system health checks (healthchecks). Unlike traditional monitoring, this professional proactively develops scripts, integrates tools, and applies foundational concepts of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIOps). The objective is to optimize the sustainability and scalability of IT operations, ensuring high service availability aligned with business rules and organizational strategic goals. Automated Routine Verification: Implement automated validation mechanisms and self-healing routines for critical services, ensuring deviations are corrected before impacting the business. Application of AI and Machine Learning: Use Python and its data science libraries—or similar technologies—to structure elementary predictive analyses, supporting early detection of operational anomalies and integrating intelligence into monitoring tools. Integration with Observability Tools: Connect automation triggers to monitoring platforms (Grafana, Dynatrace, Zabbix) to initiate automatic corrective actions based on generated alerts. Quality Assurance and Version Control: Employ CI/CD pipelines and code versioning tools (Git) to ensure security, integrity, and standardization when deploying developed scripts into production environments. Technical Documentation Organization: Clearly and consistently document automated workflows, script architectures, and operational manuals to ensure continuous understanding by monitoring and support teams.
