Description
* Receive or make internal and external calls, operating at the switchboard while observing the constant signaling on the panel, receiving and transmitting messages and general information;
* Answer telephone calls and transfer them to the requested departments;
* Operate fax machines, transmitting, receiving, and distributing messages;
* Activate mechanisms to block or allow local, long-distance, international, and nighttime calls at the beginning and end of the workday;
* Report observed irregularities in telephone services to immediate supervisors, monitoring system operation or addressing user complaints;
* Arrange telephone calls when duly authorized and in the interest of CAIXA, recording the requester's details on the appropriate form;
* Maintain a file of documentation related to telephone exchange services, if applicable;
* Avoid expressions containing linguistic errors, overly familiar terms, or acronyms during telephone service;
* Answer the telephone within three rings at most;
* If the call is intended for another person or department, inform the caller that the transfer is being arranged and confirm that the call has been answered.
Requirements:
Completed high school education; Telephone Operator course; Computer literacy course.
