We have offices in São Paulo and Chicago (USA), but our operations are fully remote—we prefer to call it an *anywhere office*. **WHAT WILL THIS PROFESSIONAL DO?** * Develop and maintain **backend APIs and services** to support mobile applications using Node.js and TypeScript * Design and implement **microservices-based architecture** and serverless functions using AWS Lambda * Integrate internal and external systems via **synchronous REST APIs** and **asynchronous processes using SQS queues** * Ensure **code quality** through automated testing (Jest) and sound development practices * Work on **data modeling and integration** with MongoDB and Oracle databases * Participate in defining and evolving **backend architecture**, scalability, and performance * Implement and maintain **CI/CD pipelines**, using Git and deployment automation tools * Monitor and optimize **production service performance and reliability** * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mobile, product, QA) to deliver end-to-end solutions * Support code reviews and promote best practices (Clean Code, design patterns) **WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?** * Experience developing with **Node.js** and TypeScript * Knowledge of **microservices architecture** and Serverless with **AWS Lambda** * Experience with **REST integrations**, including synchronous and asynchronous calls (SQS queues) * Adoption of sound development practices focused on **JavaScript** * Experience with **automated testing**, preferably using Jest * Knowledge of **MongoDB** and **Oracle** databases * Familiarity with **CI/CD**, including Git, pipelines, and containers **WHAT WOULD BE A PLUS?** * Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Sprints, Story Points, Roles) * Familiarity with Clean Code and design patterns **PROCESS STEPS:** * Application * Cultural fit interview * Technical interview \+ Live coding * Client interview * Hiring
