The Surgical Center Nursing Technician is one of the protagonists of our care. This role exists to ensure that every surgery takes place safely, precisely, and humanely—core pillars embedded in our essence at **H.Olhos.** It is a position that combines technical expertise, agility, and sensitivity. This professional prepares operating environments, organizes materials, accompanies patients during moments of vulnerability, and ensures the entire team has the support needed to perform with excellence. Every action contributes to safer surgeries, more efficient workflows, and more positive experiences for those who entrust their vision to us. * Prepare the operating room, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and all necessary materials for each procedure. * Inspect and test equipment, ensuring everything operates safely. * Open sterile supplies, assist with patient positioning, and record information in the medical record. * Strictly adhere to safety protocols, with special attention to Safe Surgery Goal 4. * Support the medical and anesthesia teams, monitor vital signs, and provide technical assistance throughout the entire procedure. * Administer medications per prescription, perform dressings, and provide diet as indicated. * Accompany the patient during recovery, ensuring comfort, compassionate care, and humanized attention. * Instruct patients and companions regarding postoperative care and hospital discharge. * Perform equipment breakdown and material restocking, maintaining an organized surgical workflow. * Ensure traceability of eye drops, medications, and supplies used. Respond swiftly to complications, following clinical protocols and medical guidance. **To participate in this process, you must:** Hold an active and valid COREN registration as a **Nursing Technician** Have prior experience as a Nursing Technician Be available to work on one of the following schedules: * 6 days on / 1 day off, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM * 6 days on / 1 day off, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM * 6 days on / 1 day off, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
