A collaborative, dynamic, and innovative environment São Paulo, SP Senior About the Role: At Maitha, you will have the opportunity to work with one of the country’s top renewable energy companies—a leader in innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation—with a strong focus on data and technology to accelerate the energy transition. Responsibilities: ✔ Develop and optimize high-performance, scalable batch data pipelines for ingesting structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into the Data Lake (GCS); ✔ Develop and manage ETL/ELT jobs in Spark/SQL to populate the Trusted (Silver) and Refined (Gold) layers of the Data Warehouse (BigQuery); ✔ Consolidate and model data from internal and external sources to support Analytics, BI, Data Science, GenAI, and Data Product initiatives; ✔ Develop online (streaming) data integrations for ingestion and processing on GCP; ✔ Design and implement efficient data architectures, optimizing time, performance, and cost; ✔ Implement business logic rules within data transformation processes; ✔ Create and maintain Data Quality, Data Assurance, Data Lineage, and Data Versioning processes; ✔ Serve as the technical reference for the Data & Analytics team, supporting strategic and innovative initiatives. Requirements: ✔ Solid experience in data engineering, including ETL/ELT, data modeling, and integration across diverse sources; ✔ Advanced knowledge of GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions); ✔ Proficiency in advanced SQL and database modeling; ✔ Experience using Python for data engineering; ✔ Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Cloud Composer); ✔ Knowledge of Data Lake and Data Warehouse architecture; ✔ Strong understanding of data governance and security best practices (GDPR, LGPD, access control). Preferred Qualifications: ➕ Experience with data streaming (Kafka, Pub/Sub); ➕ Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CI/CD); ➕ Experience with Snowflake or Redshift; ➕ Hands-on experience with code versioning and automation (Git, deployment pipelines).
