The candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, intolerance for inefficiencies, and excellence in written and verbal communication, while also contributing to code and tool improvements that support business operational velocity and ensure the success of mission-critical applications. **Daily Responsibilities** * Work within a multidisciplinary team as a Backend Software Engineer, actively participating in discussions, proposals, and planning; * Serve as a technical reference point for resolving technical questions and critical blockers, providing specialized guidance to internal and external stakeholders; * Participate in the entire software development lifecycle—from conception through implementation and operations. **Key Deliverables:** * Apply SOLID principles and Design Patterns during implementation, testing, and maintenance; * Develop scalable solutions for millions of users; * Communicate effectively and conduct rigorous analysis of transactional requirements with Business, Product, and other teams; * Ensure delivery quality; * Share knowledge and support team development; * Conduct code reviews and apply specific test cases; * Keep service documentation up to date; * Continuously pursue technical and performance improvements; * Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and constant self-improvement. **What We’re Looking for in You?** * Excellent communication skills; * Ability to collaborate effectively in teams, plus strong planning, organizational, and negotiation skills; * Proficiency in Java 17\+ and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch), with hands-on experience building microservice-based architectures using RESTful APIs and GraphQL; * Experience writing unit tests (JUnit, Mockito, etc.); * Experience with relational and non-relational databases; * Experience with containerized (Docker) and orchestrated (Kubernetes) microservices; * Familiarity with major software architecture models and patterns, such as Design Patterns and SOLID; * Practical experience building cloud-native applications, especially on AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, EMR, SQS, etc.); * Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins. **Nice-to-Have:** * Experience with Spark (Python or Scala); * Familiarity with big data solutions—including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, ETL, BI, Data Mesh, MLOps, etc.; * Experience with application instrumentation and observability tools (Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, etc.); * Knowledge of messaging and event-driven systems such as RabbitMQ and Kafka. **Qualifications** ------------------ **Qualification** * Java * solid * aws * datadog **Additional Information** -------------------------- Serasa Experian is much more than you imagine.
