Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team and play a strategic role in managing and analyzing the company’s financial information. This person will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of accounting records, supporting the monthly closing process, and contributing analyses that aid business decision-making. We are looking for an analytical, organized individual with a critical eye, autonomy, a strong sense of responsibility, and a continuous drive for growth within a dynamic environment.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Perform accounting reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring consistency and integrity of balances.
* Support the monthly accounting closing process, ensuring data quality and adherence to internal deadlines.
* Conduct reconciliation and analysis of accounts receivable, including customer balances, receipts, write-offs, delinquency, advances, and settlement discrepancies.
* Support the current ERP implementation project as needed;
* Analyze customer aging, provisions related to receivables, and potential expected losses, in accordance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards.
* Support the preparation of trial balances, balance sheets, financial statements, and management reports.
* Prepare balance compositions, variance analyses, and supporting documentation for closing and audits.
* Manage routines related to assets, especially recoverable taxes;
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of reconciliation, closing, accounts receivable, and accounting information quality processes.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting routines, monthly closing, reconciliations, and account analysis.
* Experience with accounts receivable, customer reconciliations, receipt write-offs, and balance analysis.
* Solid knowledge of accounting standards, particularly CPC/IFRS.
* Intermediate or advanced Excel proficiency.
* Experience with ERP systems.
* Analytical ability, attention to detail, organizational skills, and sense of priority.
