Description

Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register, providing customer service, registering merchandise, receiving payments, and maintaining workplace organization. Key Highlights: 1. Customer service and merchandise registration 2. Maintaining cashier organization and cleanliness 3. Verifying amounts and collecting cash bags Responsibilities: * Cash register opening and closing: Ensure the cash register is opened at the start of the shift and closed at the end of the workday, verifying amounts accurately. * Cash register cleaning: Keep the workstation organized and clean. * Checking bag quantity: Ensure sufficient bags are available to package customers' purchases. * Collecting the cash bag with the Cash Supervisor: Responsible for collecting and verifying the cash bag containing register funds, typically for bank deposits or financial recordkeeping. * Customer service: Register merchandise and ensure the purchasing process is efficient and pleasant for the customer. * Receiving payments: Accept payment for purchases and record the payment method (cash, credit/debit card, etc.). Preferred experience includes: Store Attendant, Supermarket Cashier, Sales Associate, Cash Assistant, Restaurant or Fast-Food Attendant. Work Schedule: 6x1 (one day off per week) and Sundays: 2x1 (work two Sundays, one day off\) Flexible working hours required.
