Team development and customer satisfaction The **Clinical Engineering Supervisor** serves as the technical leader and operational manager for clinical engineering activities within their assigned unit, ensuring the safe, effective, and economically responsible management of the medical-hospital equipment technology park. They guarantee excellence in service execution, regulatory compliance, resource optimization, and technical team development—acting as a fundamental pillar for customer satisfaction and service quality. * **Operational Management and Compliance:** Ensure implementation and continuous maintenance of processes defined in the unit's **Health Technology Management Plan (PGTS)**, using designated systems and tools. Guarantee full compliance of operations and documentation with applicable legislation, technical standards (e.g., NBR IEC 60601, ISO/IEC 17025 where applicable), and regulations (ANVISA, INMETRO). Review and ensure organization and control of all process-related documents within the management system (e.g., DOO), assuring traceability and easy access. Prepare and organize documentation and processes related to the unit's **hospital accreditation**, assemble presentations for audits, and lead the certification process to successful completion. * **Leadership and Team Development:** **Supervise and guide daily activities of clinical engineering technicians**, ensuring quality and efficiency in maintenance, calibration, and testing services. Monitor individual and team performance, provide constructive feedback, and actively participate in technical development of staff. Ensure team adoption and replication of company-provided training, while promoting technical knowledge sharing among the team and the client’s clinical staff. * **Maintenance Management and Technology Park Optimization:** **Ensure resolution of corrective maintenance requests**, supervising diagnosis, quotation of parts/accessories, and proposal of effective solutions. Supervise and monitor execution of **planned maintenance (preventive and predictive)** for equipment, ensuring adherence to schedules and issuance of reports and certificates. Ensure accurate entry and recording of all activities in the maintenance management system (SGM), from request initiation through service evaluation. Prepare **technical opinions** and obsolescence reports for equipment, based on historical data and regulatory requirements, to support evaluation of the client’s technology park. * **Vendor and Contract Management:** Supervise third-party services and contract execution within the unit by reviewing external service orders. Evaluate cost-benefit ratios of third-party contracts and ad hoc services, proposing optimizations or alternatives. Track and manage procurement requests for materials, accessories, and replacement parts to ensure efficiency and continuity of Medical-Hospital Equipment (EMH) operation, managing inventory in the SGM. * **Data Analysis and Reporting:** Prepare **detailed technical reports** for corrective and preventive maintenance, calibrations, and electrical safety tests. Conduct critical analyses to present equipment status to the client and propose technically and economically viable solutions to optimize technology park management. Keep the immediate coordinator informed about work progress and challenges, seeking solutions and aligning strategies during daily meetings and communications. * **Customer Relationship and Service Expansion:** Act as the primary technical contact point with the client hospital’s team and management for matters related to clinical engineering. Perform equipment quotations and coordinate demonstrations, as required by the client, to expand the scope of services and solutions offered. * **Asset and Resource Management:** Ensure proper conservation and organization of all equipment and tools provided for the role, requesting replacements when necessary. Perform other duties pertinent to the position, as delegated by the Clinical Engineering Coordinator or immediate supervisor.
