We want to meet you! **Responsibilities and duties** **Your Role as a Protagonist of Transformation:** We are a Technology team focused on ensuring the quality of services delivered to our internal and external customers. * Maintain IT and Automation infrastructure, with emphasis on networks and projects; * Perform efficient and secure backups and data recovery; * Monitor infrastructure availability and performance, taking proactive measures to ensure high availability; * Collaborate with the Information Security team to implement and monitor security controls across the entire infrastructure; * Provide technical support by responding to service requests to meet requirements for telephony, IT, automation, and network infrastructure resources; * Contact and coordinate with third-party service providers’ support teams for equipment maintenance and service needs; * Assess local network conditions—including firewalls, switches, and structured cabling—to resolve and prevent potential issues; * Request commercial and technical proposals related to IT assets and services to meet medium- and high-complexity project demands and day\-to\-day operational needs; * Participate in designing medium- and high-complexity cabling and Wi-Fi layouts—reviewing site floor plans, defining locations for structured cabling points, and optimizing space usage to meet departmental requirements; * Possess knowledge of Windows / Linux server administration; * Administration and management of storage units; * Administration and management of networks and cloud-based services; **Requirements and qualifications** **What We Seek to Strengthen Our \#TopazTeam:** * **Advanced Networking Knowledge:** Must possess deep expertise in computer networking—including network protocols, topologies, network architecture, and networking equipment. This skill is essential for designing, configuring, and optimizing corporate networks. Network Device Administration: Ability to configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and others—including performing advanced configurations and troubleshooting. * **Network Security Expertise:** Specialization in network security practices—including firewall configuration, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and implementation of robust security policies to protect network infrastructure against cyber threats. * **Familiarity with Emerging Technologies:** Must stay current with the latest networking trends—such as software-defined networking (SDN), network virtualization, cloud computing, and automation—to maintain an up-to-date and efficient network infrastructure. **Additional information** Your experience at Topaz is our top priority!
