If you believe in a world where everyone has the opportunity to drive their own lives, come be \#Kover! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Ensure company operations in Brazil comply with current regulations and legislation regarding occupational safety, occupational health, and environmental protection; * Systematically collect information from multiple sources, including public databases, media, social networks, and specialized sources; * Provide technical leadership and guidance to the EHS team; * Develop innovative strategies to enhance existing programs; * Contribute to developing and implementing the organization’s overall EHS strategy; * Participate in defining goals and key performance indicators; * Maintain in-depth knowledge of local and international regulations, identifying gaps and executing alignment plans; * Ensure organizational compliance and anticipate regulatory changes; * Coordinate and lead internal and external EHS audits; * Develop action plans to address identified improvement areas; * Conduct comprehensive environmental, health, and safety risk assessments; * Develop and implement strategies to mitigate significant risks; * Draft and review EHS-related policies, standards, and procedures; ensure policies align with industry best practices and standards; * Develop advanced training programs for EHS professionals; * Mentor and train junior analysts and TSTs to foster team development; * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in sustainable practices; * Introduce innovations and technologies to optimize EHS-related processes; * Cultivate effective relationships with regulatory agencies and internal and external stakeholders; * Represent the organization at industry forums and groups related to EHS; * The responsible individual plays a strategic role in leading and executing comprehensive Environment, Health, and Safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting an organizational culture of EHS excellence. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in a related field; a degree in Occupational Safety Engineering with a postgraduate specialization in Environmental Management is desirable (Environmental specialization is a plus); * Advanced academic training in Environmental Management, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field; * Substantial experience in senior EHS roles; * In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards; * Strong leadership, interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills; * Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence organizational culture. **Additional Information** **What You’ll Find Here:** **Birthday Day Off:** On your special day, you get a day off to celebrate however you like. **Life Insurance:** To take care of our greatest asset: our Kovers. **Health Plan:** Taking care of yourself and staying well matters. **Dental Plan:** So you can flash that beautiful smile! **Flash Card:** Your meal allowance (VR) and/or food allowance (VA) on a single card!
