Job Summary: The Purchasing Supervisor oversees and coordinates corporate procurement processes, ensuring continuous supply, quality, and cost competitiveness. Key Highlights: 1. Technical and behavioral development of the team We are seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to oversee and coordinate corporate procurement processes across all group units, ensuring continuous supply, input quality, cost competitiveness, on-time delivery, and compliance with technical, sanitary, commercial, and financial requirements. This role requires strategic engagement in supplier management, negotiations, contracts, and procurement planning, directly contributing to operational efficiency and business profitability. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Supervise the Purchasing team’s activities, defining priorities and monitoring results. * Coordinate corporate procurement processes across all group units. * Plan and execute procurement of raw materials, ingredients, seasonings, packaging, equipment, auxiliary materials, spare parts, and services. * Negotiate commercial terms to reduce costs, improve lead times, ensure quality, and enhance service levels. * Develop, qualify, and evaluate suppliers jointly with internal departments. * Ensure compliance with legal, sanitary, and documentary requirements applicable to the food industry. * Monitor the protein, input, and packaging markets, identifying trends and opportunities. * Negotiate supply and service agreements. * Collaborate with PCP, Production, and Sales teams on demand and supply planning. * Monitor inventory levels, coverage, turnover, stockouts, and critical materials. * Track performance indicators for the department and suppliers. * Identify savings opportunities, standardization initiatives, and continuous improvement actions. * Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and approval authorities. * Prepare managerial reports for presentation to Finance Control and Executive Management. * Provide technical and behavioral development for the Purchasing team. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Economics, Accounting, or related fields. * Solid experience in Procurement and Supply Chain, including leadership and team management. * Experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, or slaughterhouse industries is considered a strong advantage. * Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing, strategic negotiation, contract management, and supplier development. * Experience in procurement planning, inventory management, supply operations, and performance indicators (KPIs). * Proficiency in ERP systems and Advanced Excel. * Familiarity with Power BI and Business Intelligence tools is a plus. * Knowledge of tax legislation applicable to procurement and food quality and safety requirements. * Analytical, organized, proactive, and results-oriented profile, with strong negotiation and decision-making skills. **Advantages** * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Supply Chain, Procurement Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration. * Certifications in Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Strategic Procurement, Inventory Management, Power BI, or related areas. * Experience in corporate operations serving multiple units. **Desired Profile** * We seek a professional with strategic vision, strong negotiation capability, and results orientation—capable of leading teams, developing suppliers, and ensuring efficient, high-quality, and competitive operational supply.
