Here, you can discover new challenges, new horizons, new goals—and even more about yourself! **Responsibilities and duties** **WHAT WILL YOU DO?** * Respond to emergencies in the industrial area (fire, chemical spills, floods, explosions, among others) by isolating, fighting, applying, or guiding necessary techniques and procedures according to the nature of the incident. * Provide assistance to accident victims in general, adopting necessary measures to preserve the lives and safety of those injured. * Support maintenance and operations departments during scheduled factory shutdowns and execution of services involving risks of accidents or fires. * Inspect emergency prevention and firefighting equipment, as well as operate and manage their systems. * Ensure maintenance of emergency prevention and firefighting equipment, inspecting fire hydrants, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, emergency kits, and other similar items—checking pressure gauges and overall condition—to guarantee proper operational status and compliance with legal requirements. * Prepare reports on emergency response/incidents and shift activities. * Inspect and prepare reports on the status of the entire fire-fighting hydraulic network. * Support training for the Emergency Brigade on prevention and emergency response. * Conduct environmental assessment for flammable gas presence using a gas detector. * Authorize and/or supervise hot work or spark-producing operations. * Support containment and/or absorption of chemical spills. * Monitor removal of residues from fires, verifying re-ignition risks. * Inspect areas to identify hazards and recommend corrective and/or preventive measures. * Inspect fire pumps located in pump houses. * Inspect emergency generators and emergency lighting systems. * Capture venomous and domestic animals. * Inspect sprinkler systems, respiratory protection equipment (self-contained), fire doors, victim removal stretchers, emergency showers and eyewash stations, wind direction indicators (windsocks), and isolation valves. * Authorize critical tasks such as working at heights, confined space entry, hot work, and radiography, conducting environmental and specific assessments according to schedule and activity requirements. * Monitor aircraft landings and takeoffs, implementing necessary preventive measures. * Apply Safety Management System tools, including audits, inspections, task analyses, and behavioral approaches. * Prepare reports on PAE incident analyses, incidents, and the Master Line Program. * Record deviations and incidents in Suzano’s management system. * Perform radiometric surveys on installed radiation sources. * Know and practice procedures and standards of SIG – Integrated Management System. * Set an example of safe behavior, encouraging the team to practice active and responsible care. * Promote strict adherence to safety procedures and integration of prevention into routine activities. * Encourage proper use of PPE and exercise of the right to refuse work in situations posing serious risk, fostering proposal of solutions for risk control. * Ensure effective communication of incidents and implementation of necessary corrective actions. **Requirements and qualifications** **WHO INSPIRES US?** * Someone who believes in our values; * Proactive; * Analytical mindset; * Proposes ideas and solutions. **WHAT DOES SUZANO EXPECT FROM YOU?** * Availability to work under a 6x4 rotating shift schedule; * Training as a Civil Firefighter; * Availability to work at the Aracruz factory; * Completed elementary education. * Driver's license category D **Additional information** **WE MEAN MUCH MORE THAN JUST PAPER IN YOUR LIFE!** Healthcare benefits: Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance plans; Meal voucher or cafeteria, grocery allowance (VA), and additional VA at year-end; We understand fixed income is important—but beyond that, we offer extra income through our Annual Variable Compensation Program; For your future planning, we provide private pension; We practice home office in corporate areas, flexible working hours, and casual dress code; To generate and share value, we offer e-learning courses and training on our digital platform, UniverSuzano; At Suzano, something is only good for us if it is also good for the world!
