Technical Product Owner

Description

We are building a robust B2B enterprise incentive and rewards platform. Our tech stack includes multiple modules, financial integrations, APIs, and complex business rules. Today, we have a mature Product team with Product Owners (POs) focused on specific areas. However, we’ve reached a point where we need someone who goes beyond day-to-day product operations: we need a person with deep systems understanding. This role is for someone who can sit down with Tech Leads and developers, map architectural impacts, identify technical debt, and translate structural decisions into visibility and governance for the Product team. If you have a technical background, think about products with systemic depth, and want to work on a real-world product with scale and complexity, this opportunity is for you. **Responsibilities and duties** Technical Structure and Architecture * Collaborate with engineering and data teams to map technical and business requirements * Understand and document architectural impacts of new features * Identify technical debt and structure prioritized refactoring proposals * Support platform-level structural decisions with medium- and long-term vision * Assess inter-module dependencies and system scalability risks Refinement and Governance * Lead in-depth technical refinements with Tech Leads and developers * Ensure user stories and epics contain sufficient technical context for execution * Establish standards for functional and technical product documentation * Provide visibility into where teams are working and what impact that has on the ecosystem * Support the development and maintenance of the platform’s evolutionary roadmap Product and Business * Translate business needs into sustainable, scalable technical architectures * Prioritize enhancements based on systemic impact, performance, and stability * Collaborate with POs from specific domains to ensure ecosystem consistency * Support technical capacity planning and delivery predictability **Requirements and qualifications** Technical knowledge and familiarity System and microservices architecture API design and analysis Relational and NoSQL database modeling System integrations (webhooks, message queues, events) Scalability and performance concepts Technical debt: identification and prioritization Technical refinement with engineering teams Product knowledge and familiarity Structured prioritization capability Solution modeling and workflow mapping Basic UX awareness and journey validation Product metrics and KPI analysis Familiarity with product analytics tools AI application in processes and validations Product Discovery and roadmap development User Stories, Epics, and functional specifications BI tools and database query skills Basic security, authentication, and compliance awareness **Additional information** To support your daily work: Benefit (iFood Benefits Card): R$ 1\.120,00 per month Participation in physical and mental health programs through partners, including gym networks and telehealth; To develop your career: * Performance evaluation; * Structured career path; * Frequent training sessions; Incentivar is an incentive and rewards software built to help companies hit more goals by strategically and intelligently leveraging their data.
