### **About Volis**
Volis builds AI systems that become integral to organizations’ operational models — from data architecture to real\-time decision\-making. We don’t build generic dashboards. We develop solutions with genuine domain depth: operational ontologies, AI models embedded into workflows, and measurable impact on our clients’ critical operations.
We work with complex organizations across more than 20 countries, operating from our offices in Porto, São Paulo, and Dallas. Our use cases span logistics optimization and asset management to industrial analytics and operational intelligence — always guided by the same principle: the data already exists; what’s missing is extracting the value hidden within it.
In the construction sector, we have developed a dedicated practice over recent years. The scale and complexity of construction projects — with operations distributed across multiple countries, teams operating in radically different contexts, and billions of euros in concurrent construction — make them both a demanding and extraordinarily rich environment for applying data and AI. It was precisely here that Volis Build was born.
### **Volis Build**
Volis Build is the construction execution platform we developed to operationalize a construction management model, built from best practices identified across construction projects of diverse typologies and regions.
The platform integrates planning, daily execution, cost control, and performance analytics into a single, unified solution. It replaces Excel files, manual processes, and disconnected systems with a structured flow of production data from the construction site.
Volis Build is now ready for large\-scale implementation. And this is where you come in.
### **Solutions Engineer**
We need someone who ensures Volis Build is successfully adopted on construction sites — not merely installed, but actively used, understood, and embedded into the routines of construction management teams.
The Solutions Engineer bridges the gap between product and field. You work directly with site managers, market directors, and local teams to ensure the platform functions within the real operational context of each project — not just under ideal conditions. At the same time, you are the product’s eyes and ears in the field: what you learn on site directly influences what gets developed next.
This is not a conventional technical support or training role. It is an execution role with genuine autonomy, in demanding contexts, with direct impact on project outcomes.
### **What we’re looking for**
There is no rigid list of mandatory requirements. What we seek is a set of traits that, based on our experience, distinguish those who excel in this type of role:
**Ability to enter a new context and deliver value quickly**
You know how to observe, ask the right questions, and understand how an operation works in practice — before proposing anything. You don’t need weeks to become productive.
**Ease of communication with any audience**
In one week, you might explain the daily parts workflow to a site supervisor in Angola; the next, you’ll present the implementation status to a market director in Lisbon. You must be effective in both contexts without compromising your authenticity.
**Execution\-oriented, not process\-oriented**
You can distinguish what’s essential from noise. You don’t wait for everything to be defined before acting. When you encounter a problem, you solve it — then document how you solved it so it doesn’t recur.
**Genuine resilience and adaptability**
Not in the generic sense of “working well under pressure.” Rather, the concrete ability to execute with quality when the context shifts, when plans fail as expected, and when available support is limited.
**Genuine willingness to learn about a complex industry**
Construction has its own language, rhythms, and constraints. You don’t need to know it beforehand — but you must have a sincere interest in diving deep into it.
**Availability for frequent international travel**
Over the next 18 months, a significant portion of your time will be spent outside Brazil — including Africa and Latin America. This is central to the role, not an exception.
Fluent English. Spanish is a significant advantage given the geographic context.
We value prior experience in consulting, operations, or implementations. But what matters most to us is how you think and how you execute — not the name on your CV.
### **What we offer**
Real impact from day one
You won’t spend months in onboarding. You’ll be in the field quickly, with concrete responsibility for implementation success.
Genuine international exposure
Regular work in African, Latin American, and European markets, each with highly distinct operational contexts. The kind of experience that would take much longer to build elsewhere.
Proximity to product and strategy
Volis is a small, growing company. What you report from the field directly shapes what gets developed next. You’ll have access to and visibility into decisions that, at larger companies, would never reach your level.
A real growth trajectory
This role prepares you well for what comes next — whether in Product, Business Development, Strategic Operations, or market leadership. It’s not an entry\-level role; it’s an acceleration role.
