Leadership: Acting as a benchmark in innovation, cost management, and sustainability, with a results-oriented mindset and a winning spirit. **Key Responsibilities:** Apply process safety engineering knowledge in industrial and administrative environments to identify, mitigate, and manage operational and process risks, ensuring employee and operational safety. Conduct detailed process risk analyses, such as HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA, and PHA, and perform incident investigations using cause-and-effect analysis methodologies, promoting preventive and corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Ensure implementation and maintenance of Process Safety Management (PSM) systems in compliance with international standards and best practices, including conducting audits and periodic reviews. Develop and implement Risk Mitigation Plans (RMPs) and Loss of Primary Containment (LOPC) prevention programs. Act as a facilitator in process safety analyses and lead Management of Change (MOC) initiatives affecting safety. Coordinate and guide the team in implementing projects involving process safety, ensuring adherence to and maintenance of corporate practices and standards. Participate in developing technical training and capacity-building programs focused on process safety for employees, promoting a safety culture and alignment with corporate requirements. Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans for hazardous and toxic products, ensuring corrective measures and emergency procedures are effective. Supervise and contribute to the specification of appropriate collective protection systems and personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring their effectiveness and compliance. Responsible for analyzing and approving industrial projects with a focus on process safety and for preparing technical opinions. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Process, or related fields), accredited by the MEC, with valid registration at the CREA of the state where the candidate operates. Complementary education preferred in process safety-related areas, such as postgraduate studies in Process Safety Engineering, Industrial Risk Management, or related disciplines; * Specific certifications such as PSM (Process Safety Management), CFSP (Certified Functional Safety Professional), or equivalent will be considered advantageous; * HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA; * Fluent English *At ICL, we believe diversity is the engine of innovation.
