Description
We are seeking a **Collection Supervisor** to manage, organize, and conserve cultural collections in a space dedicated to promoting art and memory. The professional will be responsible for supervising activities related to cataloging, storage, preservation, and circulation of artworks and documents, ensuring the integrity of the collection and compliance with technical and institutional standards.
To apply for this position, the following mandatory requirements must be met: a bachelor's degree in Museology, Archival Science, History, or Library Science, recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC);
A postgraduate degree in one of the following fields—also recognized by the MEC: Museology, Archival Science, History, Library Science, Social Sciences, Cultural Management, Collection Management, Education, Art Education, Curatorship, Arts, Restoration, or Cultural Heritage;
In addition, minimum of 1 (one) year of experience in managing, coordinating, or supervising teams, verified through employment record book registration or technical qualification certificate.
It is also required to present **one of the following variable requirements**: a professional qualification certificate issued by a museum or cultural institution where the candidate worked as a museologist **or** a certificate issued by a service-providing company confirming work as a museologist under a contract linked to a museum or cultural institution.
