




Job Summary: Responsible for analyzing and supporting operational support activities, including developing and maintaining backup plans, configuring and monitoring storage systems, and participating in infrastructure projects. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for developing and maintaining backup plans. 2. Installs and configures high-availability storage resources. 3. Participates in projects and provides technical information. Responsible for analysis and operational support monitoring services, adhering to the Client’s standards and processes. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop and maintain backup plans meeting organizational needs, including frequency, backup types (full, incremental, differential), and storage; * Install and configure storage resources, including high-availability configurations; * Define and implement zoning policies for access to storage system resources; * Use management tools to perform configuration and monitoring tasks related to the storage system; * Monitor and optimize storage system utilization via management tools, performing load balancing as needed to prevent resource overloading; * Collaborate with various user teams of the Storage Area Network (SAN) to track effective storage space growth, alerting involved managers about the SAN system status; * Log all anomalies related to the Storage Area Network (SAN), keeping involved managers informed of issues; * Prepare and maintain up-to-date documentation covering all components of the storage solution; * Track vendor support tickets for resolving high-complexity storage-related issues; * Participate in projects, providing technical input on characteristics and sizing of computing resources required to support Storage Area Network (SAN) solutions and all their components; * Analyze requirements for sizing resources within the backup/restore infrastructure; * Propose changes to backup/restore policies for production environment servers; * Install, configure, update, and remove backup/restore hardware/software in test and production environments; * Track vendor support tickets for resolving high-complexity backup/restore solution issues; * Perform periodic restore tests to validate performed backups; * Prepare technical documents outlining best practices for using backup/restore software, for dissemination to technical teams; * Participate in projects, providing technical input on characteristics and sizing of computing resources required to support backup/restore solutions and all their components; * If needed, I can review other blocks while strictly maintaining the same criteria. **Requirements and Qualifications** * EDUCATION * Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Information Technology (IT). * PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE * Experience in information security.
