We are seeking a professional to work in the Occupational Safety area at our Santa Rita Mine in Itagibá\-BA. Candidate information collected during the selection process for open positions is rigorously handled in accordance with the LGPD – General Data Protection Law. * **Responsibilities and duties** **Legal compliance and audit management** * Organize and oversee **internal, external, and labor audits**, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements. * Conduct technical analyses and prepare **legal compliance assessments**, supporting strategic decision-making. * Verify adherence to and updating of **legal requirements applicable to operations**. **Risk and critical activity management** * Perform **hazard and risk assessments**, focusing on critical areas and activities. * Support the definition and implementation of **safety controls**, including hazardous energy isolation and lockout. * Verify authorizations and safety documentation for critical activities. **Occupational Safety, Health and Environment (OSH&E) programs, reports, and documents** * Support the **development, review, and updating of mandatory programs and reports** (PGR, PPR, PCA, LTCAT). * Review technical documents, reports, and evidence to ensure **standardization, technical quality, and regulatory compliance**. * Assist in developing and validating **operational procedures and the management system**. **Field activities and operational support** * Conduct **technical visits to operational areas (mine, processing plant, tailings dam, and port)**, monitoring compliance and supporting decision-making. * Serve as the **technical reference for Occupational Safety**, supporting internal departments and contractors. **Incident investigation and continuous improvement** * Lead and support **high-potential incident investigations**, preparing reports and recommendations. * Promote and support **continuous improvement projects**, focused on risk management and operational efficiency. **Stakeholder engagement, governance, and safety culture** * Organize and participate in **technical meetings with internal departments and contractors**, tracking KPIs and action plans. * Manage **CIPAMIN processes**, including commission management, meetings, and inspection follow-up. * Organize and deliver **technical training and educational initiatives**, reinforcing safety culture and alignment with corporate policies. **Requirements and qualifications** * Technical degree in Occupational Safety with active registration. * Solid experience in Occupational Safety, preferably in mining or in highly complex industrial environments such as oil \& gas and/or steelmaking. **Technical knowledge** * Techniques for **prevention and control of occupational hazards**. * **Labor, social security legislation, and Regulatory Standards (NRs)** applicable to operations. * **Safety inspections, safety audits, and legal compliance management**. * **Accident and incident analysis and investigation**, including high-potential events. * **First aid and emergency response plans**. * Familiarity with **management systems and ERPs** (experience with **Totvs, PM Driver**, or similar software is desirable). * Application of the **PDCA cycle** for continuous improvement of SSMA processes. * Knowledge and application of **ISO 14001** and **ISO 45001** standards, including risk and opportunity management, and audit and continuous improvement requirements. **Desirable:** * Specializations or complementary courses in: * Occupational Hygiene; * Ergonomics; * Occupational Safety Expertise and Auditing; * Organizational Psychology applied to Safety. **Differentiators:** * Certification as a Civil Firefighter. * Driver's license category D. **Additional information** **Benefits:** Medical assistance \- Bradesco Saúde; Dental assistance \- Bradesco Dental; Life insurance; On-site cafeteria; Meal allowance; Transportation service; Wellhub; Conexa Saúde; Atlantic Nickel is a company focused on operations at one of the world’s largest open-pit nickel sulfide mines!
