Basic Health Units (UBS) are services comprising the Basic Health Care Network, characterized by high coverage density and provision of health services in close proximity to users. Their activities focus on **health promotion**, **health protection**, **health recovery**, and **disease prevention**, delivered individually or collectively, coordinated with other health network services and intersectoral initiatives. UBS offer, by appointment, medical consultations in Pediatrics, Gynecology, and Internal Medicine, as well as multidisciplinary team services—including Nursing, Dentistry, Social Work, Nutrition, and Psychology—in some units. Additionally, they provide procedures (inhalations, injections, dressings, vaccinations, laboratory test collection, dental treatment, Pap smear collection), referrals to specialty services, and supply of basic medications. **Responsibilities and Duties** Perform oral health procedures for populations within the scope of health promotion and protection, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and maintenance of individual and collective health, aligned with local epidemiology. Interface with the Health Care Network, providing comprehensive care coordination through actions that facilitate access, comprehensiveness, longitudinality, resolution capacity, and community participation in Health Services, among other activities. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Dentistry * Completed postgraduate studies in one or more of the following areas: Public Health, Family Health Strategy, or Multiprofessional Residency in Health. * Active registration with the professional regulatory council. * Minimum of six (6) months’ documented experience as a Dentist. **Additional Information** Region: Aricanduva/Sapopemba and Mooca. Schedule: 20 hours per week. Thus, SPDM contributes effectively to the continuous improvement of services provided by Brazil’s Unified Health System (SUS), primarily aiming to ensure universality and equitable access to health services—essential for human and social development. To achieve this, SPDM combines cutting-edge technology with high-quality medical care, supported by multidisciplinary teams composed of nurses, physical therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists, speech-language pathologists, clinical biochemists, psychologists, technologists, social workers, dentists, and others. **The Integrated Health Care Program** began operations in 2001 in the municipality of São Paulo and subsequently expanded to other municipalities and states. Since its inception, **PAIS** has partnered with public administration to strengthen and consolidate health services offered to SUS users.
