If you identify with our purpose, let’s imagine and engineer the future together? **Responsibilities and Duties** **Summary Description:** Ensure execution and delivery of engineering projects under your responsibility, detailing the project plan per alignment with responsible professionals, interfacing with stakeholders, and monitoring activities across various disciplines to contribute to contract fulfillment within client-agreed specifications. **Detailed Description:** * Ensure development of viable projects, observing technical, environmental, legal, and compliance criteria, while meeting organizational objectives within scheduled timelines, budget constraints, and according to strategic premises contracted by the client. * Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices in project management and implementation—whether by internal professionals or through technical adequacy of suppliers or service providers engaged in active contracts. * Monitor engineering project progress regarding technical aspects, timeline adherence, and delivery quality, as well as contracted deliverables from external companies, via rigorous monitoring and application of project governance rules, ensuring alignment with approved contracts. * Establish interface with the implementation lead and ensure proper handover (final delivery) through premise alignment and receipt of sign-offs (approval documents). * Define performance indicators for projects under your responsibility, monitor results, propose and implement corrective actions when necessary, aiming to achieve defined targets. * Guarantee correction of "as-built" discrepancies identified by the implementation area to ensure fidelity between design documentation and actual construction. * Provide operational guidance to the team and distribute tasks to be performed in the area, facilitating and integrating team efforts to improve performance and achieve results. * Be accountable for applying personnel competencies and time allocation to operations under your responsibility, evaluating workload demands, individual requirements, and legal compliance needs—including administration of labor relations such as vacations, timekeeping, role changes, or workplace relocation—aligned with immediate management for implementation. * Ensure all employees and/or third parties under your responsibility understand and comply with company policies and procedures, and maintain up-to-date training for operational execution per established procedures. * Evaluate employee and candidate performance, proposing allocation, development, and management actions to maximize competency utilization, retain high-potential talent, and appropriately compose work teams—aiming for sustainability, equitable treatment, employee satisfaction, and organizational results. * Request sanctions and penalties from HR or Risk Management in cases of non-compliance with company policies and procedures. * Develop competencies of team members under your responsibility, ensuring participation in promoted events and effectiveness of succession plans for management and critical positions. * Perform operational activities within the area when required, addressing technical demands and training professionals for specific functions. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Basic Requirements:** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; * In-depth knowledge of geotechnical engineering, especially concerning dams and retaining structures; * Industry experience, preferably with a proven track record of leadership in geotechnical and dam engineering projects; * Experience coordinating and supervising all project phases—from conception through execution and delivery; * Strong ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Specialization in Geotechnical Engineering; * Experience with FEL (Front\-End Loading) methodology; * Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and interact with stakeholders. * Familiarity with applicable standards and regulations for dams and geotechnical projects, ensuring compliance and safety. * Advanced English proficiency. **Additional Information** **Position Characteristics:** * Employment Type: Regular Office (On-site); * Work Location: São Luís/MA; * Working Hours: 7:05 AM to 4:30 PM; **Benefits Included in This Position:** * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Transportation Allowance * Meal Allowance * TotalPass Partnership Discounts and partnerships with various educational institutions * At Timenow, we believe in the power of ideas—and even more so, in the ability to turn them into reality.
