We are looking for a talent to fill the position of Occupational Safety Technician II in Goiânia/GO. **Let’s transform collaboration into results—together?** **Responsibilities and Duties** In this role, you will work at the Equatorial Goiás unit in Goiânia and be responsible for managing occupational safety processes in the regional office. Your responsibilities will include: * Conducting occupational safety onboarding for new employees; * Evaluating safety documentation from service provider companies; * Inspecting work activities and their performers at job sites, identifying hazardous conditions, taking all necessary actions to eliminate risk situations, and training and raising awareness among employees regarding safe workplace behaviors; * Guiding workers on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protective equipment, as well as indicating and inspecting fire protection equipment when required, aiming to reduce risks to workers’ safety and physical integrity; * Supporting building modification or new facility projects, aiming to establish safer working conditions; * Promoting campaigns, lectures, and other forms of guidance to disseminate occupational safety and hygiene standards, as well as to inform and raise awareness among workers about unhealthy, hazardous, and arduous tasks; * Distributing personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as indicating and inspecting fire protection equipment when required, aiming to reduce risks to workers’ safety and physical integrity; * Supporting SIPAT (Internal Accident Prevention Week), organizing necessary activities and resources; * Investigating workplace accidents and preparing incident reports; * Identifying activity-related risks and documenting them so that the safety engineer may propose mitigation measures. Conducting inspections/field follow-ups with teams and facilities, auditing/supervising/guiding compliance with technical and legal safety requirements, PPEs, tools, equipment, and environmental safety conditions; * Delivering lectures and monitoring training related to prevention of personal losses (injuries and illnesses), material losses, and environmental damage; * Monitoring the implementation of accident and occupational health hazard prevention programs (e.g., PGR, PCMAT, PCA), periodically reviewing preventive actions/measures, developing emergency response plans, guiding emergency brigade members, and participating in simulation drills; * Advising CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention) on its routine obligations and maintaining up-to-date records required by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. **Requirements and Qualifications** For this opportunity, we expect the following from you: * Residency preferably in Goiânia or surrounding region; * Technical qualification in Occupational Safety; * Commitment to results; * Preferred additional qualification in Electrotechnology or Civil Firefighter; * Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency; * Basic Power BI knowledge; * Commitment to results; * Teamwork skills; * Customer orientation; * Passion for your work. **Additional Information** **Why Apply:** Joining Grupo Equatorial means becoming part of a growing company with a culture that values continuous development, talent diversity, and commitment to the future.
