Senior Java Software Engineer | IT Offshore Platform

About the area BTG Pactual's IT Offshore Retail area is responsible for the platforms used by Operations, Business, and end-user teams of the bank's international retail platform. Here, you will have the opportunity to work on and learn about business-area workflows and routines, gain exposure to various products traded in the international market, engage with multiple strategic external partners of BTG, and work with modern technologies and robust system implementation processes. **Your day-to-day responsibilities:** * Interact directly with internal Operations/Business users from the US brokerage to understand their requirements, implement new features, and contribute to the bank's core business; * Interface with the technology teams of our external partners to monitor existing integrations and implement new workflows, bringing new functionalities to our systems; * Develop new products used by end-users of the platform; * Participate in technical and strategic decisions regarding demand development; **What we expect from you:** * Availability to work remotely or in a hybrid model at one of our offices located in Faria Lima/SP; * Bachelor’s degree completed (required), preferably in Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields; * Experience with Java, Design Patterns, and Microservices Architecture; * Knowledge of Containers, Kubernetes, and Microservices; * Familiarity with various messaging technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka); * Proficiency in AWS technologies (e.g., EKS, SNS, SQS, S3, DocumentDB, Secret Manager, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB); * Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DocumentDB, Redis); * Financial market knowledge is desirable; * Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate across different departments; * Intermediate/advanced English proficiency; **Benefits:** * Profit and Results Sharing Program (PLR); * Meal and Food Allowance; * Health Insurance; * Dental Insurance; * Daycare/Nanny Assistance; * Transportation Voucher; * WellHub; * TotalPass; * Employee Assistance Program (EAP); * Voluntary plans such as Private Pension and Life Insurance; * Pharmacy Discount; * Nutrition Program; * Pregnancy Program; * Extended Maternity and Paternity Leave – Certified Citizen Company.
