Market analysis for cost optimization **Job Mission:** Work in the Supply Chain and Nutrition area, providing technical leadership to the procurement team; negotiating directly with suppliers; conducting market intelligence to identify opportunities or threats related to items under responsibility; preparing negotiations prior to contract and agreement expirations by analyzing the market and evaluating whether price adjustments align with market norms; running weekly cash flow reports for portfolios under responsibility, explaining any variances identified, and performing other related and inherent duties. **Key Responsibilities:** Provide technical leadership to the procurement team, supporting high-value negotiations. Negotiate directly with suppliers, adhering to company policies and aligning actions with Management. Conduct market intelligence to identify opportunities or threats related to items under responsibility and present such information to requestors and Management. Prepare negotiations prior to contract and agreement expirations by analyzing the market and assessing whether price adjustments are consistent with market norms. Run weekly cash flow reports for portfolios under responsibility and explain any variances identified. Analyze taxes and discounts based on payment terms, performing calculations to assess gains for the company. Compile and present weekly savings reports to Management. Monitor and track supplier pricing evolution.
