The Software Engineering area of Payment Methods is responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing Porto Bank's payment gateway.

**Responsibilities and duties**
* Coordinate the software engineering team, leading the technical team, monitoring deliveries, and encouraging best practices to ensure engagement and high performance.
* Serve as the liaison between business areas, facilitating interactions to ensure consistent deliveries aligned with the company’s strategy.
* Manage people by developing and engaging teams while promoting a healthy work environment. Set goals and monitor their achievement.
* Plan and manage the budget for the area under your responsibility. Support planning and execution of the product’s technology roadmap, while ensuring corporate practices for governance, security, and technology services.
* Support handling of critical incidents by facilitating investigations, engaging vendors, and applying root cause analysis.
* Support internal and external audits by providing evidence and documentation, and adapting processes when necessary to ensure compliance and strengthen governance.
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Experience with payment methods such as Pix, bank slips (boletos), and credit cards.
* Completed undergraduate degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
* Postgraduate degree or MBA preferred.
* Experience in technical leadership, team management, and software engineering projects.
* Solid experience in software development.
* Methodologies: Practical experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
