Senior Data Scientist

Description

We are seeking a Data Scientist with experience in advanced data analysis, statistical modeling, Machine Learning, and Data Engineering. You will be responsible for transforming large volumes of data into strategic insights, developing KPIs and analytical models, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting decision-making through predictive and prescriptive analytics. Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases, ETL processes, PL/SQL, dimensional modeling, and programming languages for data analysis is required. Certifications in Data Science, Analytics, Cloud, and Machine Learning will be considered a plus. **Location:** São Paulo (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), or Brasília (DF) \- Remote Work Model **Responsibilities and Duties** * Collect, organize, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data. * Apply statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques. * Develop predictive and prescriptive models focused on operational efficiency and quality improvement. * Design software and process quality indicators and metrics based on evidence and data. * Create reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations for clear communication of results. * Ensure integrity, consistency, and governance of the data used. * Translate technical analyses into strategic, business-friendly insights. * Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, and Systems Development teams. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields. * Proven experience in data analysis projects, statistical modeling, Machine Learning, and Data Engineering. * Statistical modeling, data analysis, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. * Dimensional modeling (Star Schema and Snowflake). * Data Engineering, relational and non-relational databases, PL/SQL, and ETL processes. * Programming languages for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization. * Analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and clear communication to translate technical results into business recommendations. * Continuous learning about trends and innovations in Data Science. **Preferred Qualifications:** ----------------- * Certifications such as: SAS Certified Data Scientist; IBM Data Science Professional Certificate; Google Professional Data Engineer; Google Cloud Data Analytics Professional Certificate; AWS Certified Machine Learning; Data Scientist Certification – DataCamp; Data Analysis Certification – Insper; DeepLearning.AI Data Analytics Professional Certificate; Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate... * Experience in banking projects **Additional Information** * Medical and Dental Insurance; * Meal Allowance and/or Food Voucher; * SESI and SESC benefits, providing access to health, wellness, and leisure services; * Certification Incentive Program; * Partnerships with Educational Institutions, offering exclusive discounts on courses and educational programs; * Opportunities for career growth and participation in strategic projects; Extractta was founded with the purpose of transforming technology into tangible results for companies across diverse industries.
