Extractta is seeking a **Senior Data Engineer** to work on strategic data projects, contributing to the development, evolution, and maintenance of data pipelines and analytical solutions in cloud environments. We are looking for analytical professionals focused on quality and capable of transforming business needs into scalable and efficient data solutions. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop, maintain, and automate ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data quality, integrity, and availability. * Build, evolve, and monitor data pipelines in cloud environments. * Work with large volumes of data, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. * Implement continuous improvements in data ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes. * Support initiatives related to information governance, quality, and security. * Perform data analysis and processing to support analytical and operational requirements. * Develop and maintain technical documentation related to data processes and workflows. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand and implement business requirements. * Contribute to the advancement of data engineering practices and software development best practices. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, and data pipeline development. * Proficiency in SQL for querying, modeling, and performance optimization. * Knowledge of Python for data processing and transformation. * Experience with Databricks, including notebook creation, pipeline development, and distributed processing. * Hands-on experience in cloud environments, especially Azure. * Familiarity with Azure Data Lake and other related services within the platform's data ecosystem. * Experience with relational databases, particularly SQL Server. * Knowledge of relational, dimensional, and Data Lake-based data modeling and architectures. * Understanding of data quality, governance, and data management best practices. * Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and collaborative mindset. **Desirable:** --------------- * Knowledge of Power BI for data consumption and visualization. * Experience in Insurance sector projects. * Familiarity with DataOps, CI/CD, and pipeline automation. * Experience with Lakehouse architecture. * Experience with Agile methodologies. **Additional Information** * Meal Allowance and/or Food Voucher; * SESI and SESC Health and Wellness Benefits, providing access to health, wellness, and leisure services; * Partnerships with Educational Institutions, offering exclusive discounts on courses and educational programs; * Opportunities for career growth and participation in strategic projects; * Opportunity to work at a rapidly expanding company in the market.
