Power BI Developer

Description

We are looking for a Power BI Developer to transform raw data into strategic insights and compelling visualizations. You will be responsible for supporting various business areas in decision-making by designing high-performance, intuitive, and visually attractive dashboards and reports. We seek a professional with strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills to understand user needs, and a focus on data governance. ### **Responsibilities and Assignments** * **Dashboard Development (Reactive):** Respond to Jira tickets and requests for creating, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI reports and dashboards. * **Data Modeling and ETL:** Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources using Power Query (M), ensuring efficient modeling across the data ecosystem. * **Calculations and Metrics:** Develop complex measures, calculated columns, and KPIs using DAX, ensuring accuracy of displayed metrics. * **Governance and Performance (Proactive):** Monitor and optimize report and refresh (gateway) performance, and manage access permissions (RLS \- Row\-Level Security). * **Data Culture (Proactive):** Proactively identify new data analysis opportunities with stakeholders and propose improvements to the design and usability of existing dashboards. ### **Requirements and Qualifications** * Solid experience developing reports and dashboards using **Power BI (Desktop and Service)**. * Advanced proficiency in **DAX** and **M** (Power Query) languages. * Advanced proficiency in Python. * Strong knowledge of **SQL** for direct data extraction and manipulation in databases. * Experience with **Data Storytelling** techniques and UX/UI concepts applied to dashboards. * Familiarity with access control (RLS) and workspace/gateway management. * Experience with agile methodologies and use of **Jira**. #### **Nice-to-Have:** * Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis. * Experience with Big Data or Data Warehouse tools (Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks). * Official Microsoft data certification (e.g., PL\-300\). **MJV Benefits:** TotalPass\\Wellhub; ‍‍‍‍ Group life insurance; Meal/Voucher allowance; Health and dental plan \- Bradesco; Training initiatives: talks, forums, knowledge-sharing sessions, and discussions related to our business.
