Key Responsibilities: * Continuously monitor the grain market and key drivers: supply, demand, logistical flows, market participants, and infrastructure. * Track multimodal competition (road, waterway, and rail), evaluating price movements, capacity, and positioning. * Conduct end-to-end competitiveness analyses (origin to destination) integrating costs, tariffs, margins, and market conditions. * Develop, update, and maintain railway freight pricing models. * Perform price performance analyses: plan, actual, forecast. * Prepare executive reports, market studies, and presentations for senior management/C\-Level. * Propose continuous improvements to methodology, data structure, KPIs, and processes. * Automate reports and analyses using technology, predictive models, and new data sources. * Work within a multidisciplinary team; must be prepared to understand diverse business needs and execute cross-functional projects, demonstrating prioritization and a sense of urgency.
