Mainframe - Consultant in Continuous Quality and Process Improvement

Description

We are seeking a Consultant in Continuous Quality and Process Improvement to work on strategic technology transformation and efficiency projects. This professional will be responsible for migrating a legacy COBOL system and will act on the "translation" of this system into a new low-platform tool. They will also be responsible for performance, providing consultative support for testing on both high- and low-platform environments. This role plays an essential part in quality governance, supporting technical and business teams in building sustainable and continuous improvement practices. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Plan, model, and execute functional and integration tests on Web, Mobile, API, and batch systems. * Define and implement functional test strategies, ensuring requirement coverage. * Develop and maintain test scenarios and test cases aligned with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, BDD, TDD). * Document and map service transactions, application flows, and critical routines. * Create and manage test data sets for functional testing. * Support user and business area validation activities. * Analyze and log defects, building a knowledge base of known issues. * Generate specialized reports on test execution and monitoring. * Work in banking automation labs, validating interfaces, self-service channels, and critical applications. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Demonstrable experience in the field is mandatory; * A bachelor's degree in IT or related higher education is mandatory; * **Residence required in:** São Paulo (SP) or Brasília (DF) \- Remote work model; * Experience with COBOL; * Planning and structuring test maturity for both high- and low-platform environments; * Knowledge of functional testing for Web, APIs, Mobile, and Batch systems; * Agile methodologies applied to QA (Scrum/Kanban); * Creation and maintenance of non-production test environments; * Knowledge of test types and levels (unit, integration, system, regression, and acceptance); * Banking automation platforms in Linux and Windows environments; * BDD and TDD methodologies; * Test execution reporting and monitoring; * Service/interface virtualization for integration simulation; * Execution of Batch processing and Mainframe routines. **Desirable:** --------------- * Certifications in Testing (e.g., CTFL, CTFL\-AT...) * Experience with banking automation **Additional Information** * Medical and dental insurance; * Meal allowance and/or food voucher; * SESI and SESC benefits, offering access to health, wellness, and leisure services; * Certification incentives; * Partnerships with educational institutions, providing exclusive discounts on courses and academic programs; * Opportunities for career growth and participation in strategic projects; Extractta was founded with the purpose of transforming technology into tangible results for companies across diverse industries.
