If you identify with our purpose, let’s imagine and engineer the future together? **Responsibilities and Duties** **Summary Description:** Responsible for managing and maturing engineering projects from the conceptual phase through to the basic design phase, ensuring compliance with corporate standards, technical requirements, deadlines, costs, and quality. Conducts analysis and validation of scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical proposals; leads multidisciplinary meetings, procurement processes, and monitoring of engineering firms. Controls disbursements, approvals, and financial projections, and monitors project execution via progress meetings, technical reviews, and site visits. Manages a portfolio of projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery of planned outcomes and alignment with organizational strategic objectives. **Detailed Description:** * Lead the project maturation process from conceptual to basic design, ensuring adherence to the company’s engineering standards; * Request, analyze, and validate project schedules jointly with the planning department; * Demand, receive, and conduct critical analysis of the Conceptual Project, verifying scope, document quality, and compliance with minimum requirements; * Request the project budget from the responsible department based on the developed conceptual and validate the cost estimate; * Support the use of Technical/Economic Feasibility Study and Maintain vs. Invest tools; * Organize and lead technical meetings (TRs) with multidisciplinary teams for scope validation; * Request, analyze, and negotiate proposals from engineering firms for execution of the basic design; * Validate the list of technical deliverables, costs, and scopes proposed by contracted engineering firms; * Prepare presentations and participate in management meetings (FGs), presenting scope, costs, and project maturity; * Develop the project disbursement plan in the system to request OPEX funding, and issue and track approvals; * Monitor execution of the basic design phase with the engineering firm, including document reviews, recurring FUPs, and site visits; * Conduct kick\-off meetings (KOM) and oversee comprehensive monitoring of the basic design phase progress; * Track costs, OPEX disbursements, and financial projections throughout the entire lifecycle; * Conduct weekly FUPs with coordinators and engineers to update status, bottlenecks, and needs; * Manage a portfolio of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, scope, and quality of deliverables. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Basic Requirements:** * Completed Technical Education; * Experience in the chemical and petrochemical industry; * Proficiency in preparing reports and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint \- Advanced); * Knowledge of Primavera and SAP (Intermediate); * Ability to critically analyze technical documents (scope, deliverables, standards, and minimum requirements); * Ability to lead and participate in technical and management meetings; * Skill in conducting frequent FUPs, alignment meetings, and deliverable tracking; * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with organization and prioritization; * Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing presentations and project presentations. **Additional Information** **Position Characteristics:** * Employment Type: Regular Office (On-site); * Work Location: Santo André/SP; * Working Hours: 7:44 AM to 5:00 PM\. **Benefits Included in This Position:** * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Transportation Allowance * Meal Allowance * Totalpass Partnership Discounts and partnerships with various educational institutions * At Timenow, we believe in the power of ideas — and even more so, in the ability to turn them into reality.
