Job Summary: Responsible for polishing and sanding metal surfaces to restore shine, eliminate imperfections, and ensure high-quality finishing. Key Highlights: 1. Restores the original shine of metal parts 2. Eliminates imperfections and improves visual appearance 3. Uses polishing machines, sanders, and manual polishing techniques * Apply polishing pastes, liquids, or creams to restore the original shine of metal parts. * Sand and polish nearly finished surfaces to improve smoothness and visual appearance. * Remove burrs, oxidation, stains, superficial scratches, and manufacturing imperfections. * Use polishing machines, sanders, screwdrivers with foam/felt pads, or manual polishing wheels. * Remove excess polishing compounds with microfiber cloths, ensuring a clean and protected surface. * Inspect parts to ensure finishing meets required standards (mirror finish, brushed finish, etc.). **Required Skills and Knowledge:** * Knowledge of different types of metals and abrasives. * Ability to operate polishing machinery (polishers, grinders). * Manual polishing techniques (circular or straight motions). * Handling of chemical polishing and rust-protection products.
