Job Summary: Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining corporate data platforms using SQL and Python to ensure accurate and timely insights. Key Highlights: 1. Job Description This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining corporate data platforms that enable customer data insights. The Data Engineer will apply SQL and Python expertise to execute high-quality projects and tasks with a high degree of accuracy and within established deadlines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Design, code, test, debug, and document programs and scripts using agreed-upon standards and tools, ensuring well-structured outputs. Ensure data quality and implement tools and frameworks to automate data quality issue identification. Perform data source profiling and develop ETL processes, applying foundational data modeling principles using SQL, Python, and supporting ETL/ELT tools. Support management in creating estimates and proposals for clients. Plan effective solutions for data storage, security, sharing, and publication within the organization. Create and update documentation for process flows and business rules. Maintain existing data pipelines and process large volumes of data as required. Requirements: Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Warehousing. Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines. Proficiency in writing advanced SQL queries. Proficiency in Python and various Python libraries. Strong analytical capability, with ability to understand and communicate the meaning of presented data. Excellent mathematical, statistical, and logical skills. Outstanding reasoning ability. Enthusiastic profile, highly motivated, with ability to learn quickly. Experience building ETL workflows in Databricks. Understanding of Apache Spark. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 3–5 years of experience in automotive operations or similar businesses (dynamic environment). Experience building cloud-based data solutions on Azure or AWS and migrating on-premise environments to the cloud. Prior experience serving external clients. Familiarity with MS SQL Server administration. Experience with GIT repositories. Experience with FTP and APIs. Strong communication skills and practical knowledge of agile methodologies, including DevOps concepts. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
