Job Summary: A professional responsible for specifying, developing, and coordinating vehicle connectivity functions, focusing on customer experience while ensuring project quality and schedule. Key Highlights: 1. Development of vehicle connectivity functions with a focus on the end customer 2. Coordination of connectivity, module, service, and vehicle projects 3. Project management and communication, defining functionalities and impacting markets You will be responsible for specifying and developing connectivity functions focused on the end customer, considering the technical scope required for their in-vehicle application and end\-to\-end validation, as well as coordinating all activities required for these functions—synchronizing demands across modules, services, and vehicles—to ensure scope, quality, and vehicle schedule adherence in connectivity projects. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Ensure compliance with requirements necessary for function development, as well as develop technical expertise covering vehicle architecture, communication protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.), electronic modules, and embedded software—with emphasis on online services; * Project management and communication, including preparation of managerial materials for tracking and presenting the status of vehicle function development; * Define functionalities considering the impact and relevance of the solution in target markets, taking into account technical feasibility, market demand, and legal requirements; * Coordinate software development and deployment with designated suppliers by defining requirements, clarifying doubts, jointly debugging solutions with the team, and supporting the testing team for function validation and release. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or related fields; * Advanced/Fluent English; * General knowledge and experience in vehicle connectivity across various domains such as services, telematics modules, and mobile network technologies (3G, 4G, 5G, etc.); * General knowledge or professional exposure to vehicle communication technologies, especially CAN and Ethernet; general knowledge or professional exposure to vehicle electronic architecture concepts; * Experience in project management \- schedule development, stakeholder management, cost estimation, preparation of managerial reports; * Clear and objective communication \- experience reporting to leadership \- leading meetings across different departments and global regions; * Ability to work on diverse topics within a dynamic environment; * Willingness to travel \- domestic and international. **Additional Information** **Job Title:** Connectivity Engineer **Work Location:** São Bernardo do Campo/SP Hybrid work model Free online training platform Health and Well\-being Program **Benefits:** Vehicle purchase with discount Gympass On\-site parking \- free Charter bus Annual PPR (Profit Participation Program) Meal allowance (VA) On\-site cafeteria Health insurance Private pension plan Funeral benefit plan Zenklub \- mental health and emotional well\-being platform Volkswagen is part of Brazilians’ lives, hearts, and garages.
