### **What you’ll do daily:**
* Continuously monitor and analyze Cloud infrastructure costs, identifying deviations and improvement opportunities.
* Manage and optimize usage of resources such as EC2, storage, and managed services.
* Define resource usage standards (e.g., staging, testing environments).
* Support other company teams in aligning and controlling costs.
* Evaluate and suggest cost-saving strategies for Cloud environments (e.g., Savings Plans, Spot Instances, etc.).
* Implement and ensure proper tagging of resources across managed accounts and environments.
* Create strategic dashboards for tracking overall costs, costs by product, and costs by customer.
* Periodically present key performance indicators (KPIs) for the area of responsibility.
* Define and monitor budgets and cost alerts.
* Participate in vendor negotiations and procurement of new services.
You will collaborate closely with product and technology teams, always focusing on solutions that deliver real value.
### **✅ Mandatory requirements**
* Reside in Rio do Sul/SC or surrounding region (on-site for the first 3 months)
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Systems Analysis and Development.
* Proficiency in Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP): Knowledge of cost architecture, billing models, and infrastructure services.
* Data Analysis and BI: Experience with visualization tools (QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau) and data manipulation using SQL.
* Financial Management: Familiarity with OpEx vs. CapEx concepts, forecasting (budget forecasting), and Unit Economics.
* FinOps Tooling: Experience with native tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, AWS CUR) or market platforms (e.g., CloudHealth, Apptio, etc.).
* Governance and Automation: Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform/CloudFormation) and automation policies to reduce waste.
* **Nice-to-have (non-eliminatory)**
* Cloud certifications (Practitioner or Associate level), e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
* Prior experience as a Cloud Analyst, SysAdmin, or DevOps Engineer, with understanding of how resources are provisioned.

### **Work model**
This position starts in **on-site mode in Rio do Sul**, enabling closer onboarding with the team and deeper product understanding.
After the first 3 months, the model transitions to **hybrid**, combining on-site and remote workdays.
