Job Summary:
Responsible for managing end-to-end import processes—from purchase order placement to final goods delivery—ensuring compliance with legislation and optimizing logistics flow.

Responsibilities:
* Manage direct and indirect import processes—from issuing the international purchase order to delivering goods at the final destination.
* Determine the operational classification (e.g., consumption, fixed assets, temporary admission, or other customs regimes).
* Perform fiscal classification of goods (NCM), analyze administrative treatment, and identify the need for an Import License (LI).
* Analyze and validate commercial and logistics documents (Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/AWB, Certificate of Origin, international insurance policy, etc.), ensuring compliance with customs requirements.
* Register, verify, and monitor the Import Declaration (DI) or DUIMP, coordinating with customs brokers until clearance.
* Monitor system parameterization (green, yellow, red, or gray channels), providing required documents and clarifications in response to customs requests.
* Support processes with approving agencies such as ANVISA, MAPA, and INMETRO, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Coordinate international logistics flow—including shipment, transit, arrival at port or airport, and customs release.
* Control critical operational deadlines (free time, storage, demurrage, LI registration and expiration deadlines) to avoid additional costs.
**Technical Competencies:**
* Bachelor’s degree completed in International Trade, International Relations, or Business Administration.
* Fluent and Advanced English.
* Proven prior experience in import processes (minimum 5 years).
* Solid knowledge of Brazilian customs, tax, and foreign exchange legislation.
* Experience registering and monitoring DI and/or DUIMP.
* Practical experience in fiscal classification (NCM) and administrative treatment analysis.
* Knowledge of special customs regimes (e.g., drawback, temporary admission, etc.).
* Experience liaising with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and approving agencies (ANVISA, MAPA, INMETRO, etc.).
* Proficiency in analyzing international documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, Certificate of Origin).
* Knowledge of import cost calculation and pricing structure.
* Experience in foreign exchange settlement and international payments.
* Experience with ERP systems and international trade systems (e.g., Siscomex).
* Advanced Excel skills for data control and analysis.
