Requirements: We are seeking a **SENIOR QA ANALYST** with experience in full functional validation (end-to-end), with at least 5 years of QA experience, to ensure quality for a cloud-based e-commerce platform/system with headless architecture, emphasizing strong expertise in UI end-to-end automation using Playwright and API/contract testing — guaranteeing reliability, global scalability (multi-country/multi-language), and enterprise-grade traceability and evidence standards. If you have experience with agile methodologies, code quality, and identify with values such as collaboration and commitment, this opportunity is for you! **Key Responsibilities** Define and execute test strategies for critical user journeys (Login/My Account, Search/Catalog, Order Simulation* Order/Checkout) and integrations. * Implement and maintain a UI end-to-end test suite in Playwright (TypeScript), including: + Page Object/Screenplay patterns (where applicable), fixtures, test data, and parallelization; + Cross-browser execution (Chromium/WebKit/Firefox), responsiveness, and stability in CI. * Design and automate API tests (REST — GraphQL preferred when available): authentication, pagination, versioning, and contract validation. * Implement consumer-driven contract tests between Frontend/BFF/APIs (Pact or equivalent) to reduce integration breakages. * Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps), including quality gates, reporting, and evidence (traces, videos, screenshots). Support definition of acceptance criteria, Definition of Ready/Definition of Done, and ensure traceability: requirement → story → test → evidence (Jira + Xray/Zephyr/TestRail). * Collaborate closely with Frontend (React), Backend (Java), Architecture, UX/UI, and stakeholders in Scrum/Kanban environments. * Conduct root cause analysis, defect triage, and continuous improvement (execution metrics, recurring failures, flakiness, pipeline duration). * Expected deliverables: + Stable Playwright E2E suite for priority journeys, with flakiness metrics; + API and contract test coverage for critical BFF/APIs, integrated into CI/CD; + Audit-ready reports and evidence (including traces and Jira links); + Standards/documentation to support automation evolution and handover to the client’s team. **Requirements and Qualifications** * 5+ years in QA for complex web applications, acting as a technical reference. * Proficiency in Playwright for UI end-to-end automation (preferably with TypeScript): + Project structure, best practices for selectors (e.g., data-testid), organizational patterns, and reuse; + Parallel execution, sharding, and container/CI execution. * Strong experience with API testing (REST): validations, schemas, auth (OAuth2/OIDC), environments, and test data. * Practical experience with contract testing (Pact) and/or schema validation (OpenAPI/JSON Schema) in pipelines. * Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD (ability to debug pipelines and headless tests). * Docker knowledge for execution and troubleshooting of automated test suites. * Familiarity with enterprise integrations: API Gateway (Kong) and IdP (Keycloak) — consumption and validation in tests. * Experience with observability/test evidence: structured logs, Playwright traces, reports (JUnit/Allure or equivalent). * Knowledge of tools and standards: + UI E2E: Playwright (TS), traces/videos/screenshots, cross-browser execution; + API: Playwright API testing / Postman-Newman (or equivalent), OpenAPI/JSON Schema validation; + Contract: Pact (or equivalent consumer-driven contract tool); + Management/traceability: Jira + Xray/Zephyr/TestRail; + CI/CD: GitLab/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps; + Execution: Docker (containerization for CI execution). **Nice-to-Haves** * Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and/or Spartacus/Composable Storefront. * Experience in complex B2B scenarios (distinct user profiles, restricted catalogs, commercial rules, quotation/simulation, contracts). * Experience integrating with SAP ECC/S/4HANA. * Accessibility and web quality testing: axe-core, Lighthouse. * Performance testing (k6/JMeter) and non-functional test strategy for APIs. **Behavioral Skills** * Senior profile with autonomy, ability to prioritize by risk/value, and negotiate test scope without compromising governance. * Clear communication (in Portuguese) and reading/writing proficiency (in English) for documentation and interaction with global teams. * Strong collaboration with Dev/UX/Architecture to enable “shift-left” (quality from the start).
