**Senior AI Engineer / Data Scientist** **Contractor / Freelancer** We are seeking a **Senior AI Engineer / Data Scientist** to drive people and business forward through innovation, with attitude, initiative, and a focus on execution. **Your impact in this role:** * **AI Security and Determinism:** Develop and implement AI guardrails (e.g., NeMo/LlamaGuard) and prompt sanitization to prevent AI hallucinations and ensure accuracy in transactions. * **Agent Protocol Integration:** Work on interoperability architecture to ensure secure communication and automated settlement using protocols **Google AP2**, **OpenAI ACP**, **Verifiable Intent**, and **Visa Intelligent Commerce**. * **Risk Mitigation and DLP:** Implement rigorous interception layers for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) in chat and block *Prompt Injection* attempts that could manipulate values or leak sensitive data. * **Observability and Monitoring:** Build observability pipelines to track LLM usage, tool calls (*tool calling*), and manage token cost metrics. * **Testing and Benchmarks:** Create robust benchmarks, jointly with the QA team, to validate whether the autonomous agent correctly selects and invokes the appropriate payment tool. ✅ **Essential Requirements:** * **Programming Languages:** Advanced proficiency in Python. * **Data and AI Architecture:** Experience developing AI Agents, integrations via LLMs (GPT, Claude), and implementing evaluation infrastructure (Evaluate). * **Cloud Engineering:** Solid hands-on experience in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure API Management (APIM). * **Communication Standards:** Expertise in building REST APIs and deep knowledge of the **MCP (Model Context Protocol)** standard for exposing "Tools". * **Scalable Data Processing:** Proficiency in building data pipelines and advanced analytics using distributed clusters. * **Certification:** Databricks Certified Machine Learning Professional OR Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional * **Nice-to-Have:** * Programming Language: TypeScript and Node.js. * Familiarity with **PCI-DSS** standards to ensure "Zero exposure of PAN/CVV" (*Primary Account Number* / Card Verification Value) in AI agent interaction logs. * Familiarity with Verifiable Digital Credentials (*Verifiable Digital Credentials - VDCs*), such as *Intent Mandates* and *Payment Mandates*, to establish delegation chains for agent identities.
