The professional will be responsible for ensuring the quality, organization, and proper display of perishable products, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and smooth store operations. If you are passionate about organization, attentive to detail, and seeking an opportunity in a dynamic environment, join our team! #### **Main responsibilities:** * Receive, inspect, and store perishable products (meat, dairy, deli items, produce, bakery, etc.), verifying quality and expiration dates. * Organize and restock products on shelves, counters, and refrigerated chambers, following established layouts and the FIFO (First In, First Out) system. * Monitor temperatures of refrigeration and display equipment to ensure proper product preservation. * Accurately price items, ensuring all information is visible and up to date. * Discard unsuitable products for consumption, following hygiene and food safety procedures. * Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection and answering questions. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including counters, shelves, and equipment. * Assist in inventory control and stocktaking of perishable products. #### **Mandatory requirements:** * Completed high school education. * Prior experience as a Perishables Operator or in related roles (e.g., shelf stocker, butcher assistant, bakery assistant, produce assistant). * Basic knowledge of good food handling and hygiene practices. * Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. * Residency near or easy access to the Vasco da Gama region. #### **Desirable qualifications (advantageous):** * Training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or food handling. * Experience in supermarkets or large retail chains. * Knowledge of inventory control systems. * Skills in deli slicing or use of electronic scales. #### **Benefits:** #### **Work schedule and working hours:
