This position is within our agricultural segment, where we successfully connect our customers—the producers—with industry. **PURPOSE AND IMPACT OF THE ROLE** ----------------------------------- The Transportation Analyst will perform activities ensuring efficient transportation contracting for grains, meal, and finished products from origin to destination. We seek a professional who contributes to identifying and selecting the most appropriate and economical transportation options, building partnerships and relationships with drivers and transporters, under supervision. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** -------------------------------- * Monitor and track contracted drivers/transporters. * Apply basic understanding of transportation and logistics practices and procedures to support negotiation of freight rates and contract terms for customers. * Update transportation websites and databases with contracts, rates, freight estimates, insurance information, customer information, etc. * Analyze current transportation operations practices to address management opportunities and improve cost efficiency. * Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision while escalating more complex issues to the appropriate team. * Other duties as assigned **QUALIFICATIONS** ----------------- * Experience in transportation or logistics; * Experience with analysis and development of spreadsheets in Excel / Power BI; * Availability to work onsite in Sinop/MT **\#LI\-AA2 \#LI\-Onsite** At Cargill, every person matters.
